Had a spare quarter of an hour before the Utd/Stoke match, so did a quick automatic drawing. Actually, all of my drawings are automatic to an extent. On the contrary I guess, all creative actions start with an initial notion, be it a fragment of an idea or a fully fledged plan; it could be the discovery of a new chord, which turns into a jam, which turns into a song, or it could be a desire to draw a rainbow, because you saw a rainbow, which led to creating an environment for the rainbow. Or you could try and say something meaningful in a meaningless world, which in turn creates a certain absurdism. Either way, everything is absurd really. Absurd is interesting. And in paintworld everything is absurd.
