Yesterday was alright. We played a gig at Riffs Bar as part of the annual Riff Stock charity fundraiser. Must’ve played pretty much every year ever since I’ve been back in Purton. How many years is that? Dunno, about ten I reckon. Wow. Time aye. I’d be worried about where that time went, but after reading loads of Science and Philosophy books I now know that time doesn’t really exist, it’s more a man made concept to help us structure our little lives. This concept is illustrated well in the book ‘The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe’ where by the main characters return after many years in Narnia to earth time where only a few minutes have passed. Perspective an’ all is important in all walks of life it seems.
